Justin Miller was a BOSS.  Clemson star, All NFL kick returner, NFL fastest man.  I still remember him  putting a blur-shot-out-of-a-cannon kick return on a great Highlands team his junior year.

As far as I know of you're right, I think Coach Yeast was only a name thrown out a speculation or a possible name for the school to reach out to.

Ganaway...he's a position coach down in the Sunshine State if I'm not mistaken. He had a decent year in his first season at Ohio County, but the next two years weren't anything stellar, nor was his season at Bosse (IN).

Correct, 7 wins at Ohio county speaks volumes.

Being around the program for a while I can guarantee you one thing. The program will hire from within and people on here that believe they will hire outside the building will be wrong. The Next Head Coach at Owensboro High School is on the current staff. If not, I'm wrong, but history tells us what?  We hire within..

We all got our jollies when we thought Wallace was considering the job. I took some of the bait too.... but as I said all along.... The hire is within.

I would like to add that I can't believe we are at page 13 and we are only 2 weeks in the search. This might get to 26 pages before we make an announcement.

Ganaway has a relationship with a lot of people in the city and current players! I honestly think it would be a great hire!

I'm not questioning that at all. I'm just a little mystified by people turning up their nose at the idea of Brian Rector being a good hire because of the perception that he hasn't won enough games for Owensboro, and then they're turning around and nodding their heads to the idea of someone who has a 12-29 (29% winning) head coaching record. And that is NOT to say that I don't think Ganaway could be a great coach or potentially the exact fit that the Red Devils need, I'm just saying......I sense a little bit of a double-standard, or dare I say, hypocracy when it comes to folks nay-saying Rector (120-101 / 54% winning) with his state championship and runners up trophies.

Oh I don’t disagree with that at all! I think either could be great hires for OHS!
