I want to thank Brad Morris, Jason Burkeen and Doug Sims (Red Helmet Sports guys) for the broadcast. I've had 2 knee replacements this year and it was great getting to watch the games. What a blessing

I was very impressed with LCA's offensive line.

Both their offensive and defensive lines were very good.

I’m mind blowed at this one.

LCA came to play. The seniors on their team know what the last 2 seasons have felt like on that long ride home. They made sure that wasn’t going to happen again. The QB runs that offense with precision. His ball handling and turning his back to the defense was impressive.

I know the old school Mayfield guys on here talk them up no matter what but they are COMPLETELY out of touch. Any team is what they have that season. Mayfield will be VERY GOOD next year and I will be commenting a lot but this season there was nothing I could ever say that was bragging on them genuinely. Mayfield was super down this year and that’s that. Good luck to all teams….my prediction is that Beechwood beats LCA in the semifinals and they also beat OCath in the state championship. And that’s what I’ve thought all season long.

This Mayfield team had 2 choices: lose 2nd round to OC on the road or lose 3rd round to LCA at home...that was this team's ceiling...you're right only old die hard Mayfield fans would think otherwise...new head coach and system didn’t help..you can't barely win your district and think you're going to win state.. no kick off return or punt retun for TD shows the lack of dynamic play makers on this team. I am hoping you're right about next couple of years but I still see us struggling in the next couple years from what I have seen of our depth, speed and play making abilities.....GBR...

Mayfield will be good next year. Not saying they will win state by any means but I will also say they have a great shot at it. Their senior class will be very experienced and battle tested. Gray Robbins will have a year under his belt. Josiah England will be GREAT next year. Mayfield will be VERY tough next year and have a great shot at a state title!

Mayfield has never had a running clock put on them period that I know of. Playoffs or not.

You forgot Tilghman in 2003.

The backup is where the future is.  They better figure it out or this is their ceiling again next year.  Vanilla offense, 2 trick pony.  The whole team plays better with the other kid.  It showed against tilghman, too.  Don’t know what the problem is with him, but I’ve heard rumors.

What are the rumors?

The score was 47-7. Do you think that player is going to make up that difference in this game?

2 Back surgeries last year and 2 knee replacements this year.

As that philosopher, Mick Jagger sang: "What a drag it is, getting old!"

P.S. I've had 2 joints replaced myself, so I feel your pain.
