Most Bird faithful I know have been saying this for awhile now. Hayden being since game 1 of his tenure.

I like Rio better at QB than I like the play calling.  

I am not informed enough to say on any changes but I thought Rio made some nice plays both running and throwing the football.

I don’t know a single one that is not disappointed with this season so far. Hopefully Playing Dixie will get us straightened out and on the right track for the rest if the season.

Clearly you don't know Frank then.  But seriously, that was my point, the Highlands fan in me is a little disappointed.  The Conner game in a few weeks interests me.

This was Litmer's best game of the season IMO. Missed a couple throws, but he didn't make any big mistakes. I thought he played very well. 

 

Great hustle play from Surrey at the end of the first half. Definitely could have and should have been Cooper +14 at halftime.

I just said that in my prediction/update thread for next week against Dixie.  He never really seemed nervous and frazzled back their.  I saw one really bad throw that he made falling back on his back foot and heaved it 25 yards downfield, luckily it got swatted down by I think it was Arnold.  Made some nice runs using his legs.  I think that is what the Birds need from him going down the stretch, be calm don't force things take what the defense gives you....don't be afraid to use your speed.  If I am not mistaken in the preseason combine he was in the Top3 fastest players on the team, USE IT!!!

Other than the opening kickoff Highlands matched and bested Cooper; not pleased with the outcome but pleased the way they played.

Great game by two great teams. I expect they will play again, but this time at Cooper. I think it would be another great game, but with Cooper winning by at least two scores.
