Well, of the top 6 current RPI schools, only one will be eliminated after then 2nd round (St. X or Ryle).  That should make things interesting.

Districts 1-4 teams seeded and Districts 5-8 seeded for 3rd round.

But how are the cross bracketed Districts handled in Round 3? Example- Would a team advancing from District 3 remain in the East for Round 3 or be moved back to their “home” West region in Round 3?

Pretty sure it goes to RPI after round 2. 

District 5  (Trinity, etc.) will play District 4 (Male, etc.) in the first two rounds and is included with the western 1/2 of the state in round three. District 6 (Ryle, etc.) and District 3 (Manual, etc.) are included with eastern 1/2 of state. Round three winners are seeded by RPI with four teams in your half of state.

Round 4 is the four survivors(2 from east and 2 from west) seeded by RPI to decide who goes to Commonwealth Stadium in December.

I think you have it backwards. According to KHSAA, Districts 3 (St. X/Manual) and 6 (Ryle) are considered Region 2 in 2024. District 4 (Male) and District 5 (Trinity) are considered Region 3 in 2024. Doesn't that mean X, Manual, Ryle are in the Western half of the state, and Male/Trinity are in the Eastern half?
