He was just on FS1, said 1 LEO was really high strung during the incident.

 

That is the The South Florida Police BA going strong to the hoop.  I wonder where the actual police department stands on this. 

Like most of these incidents, we are catching quick snippets of video and jumping to conclusions. Unfortunately for Hill, his past actions do not help his cause in the court of public opinion. Fair or unfair.

I have FS1 on as background noise & heard "not wearing a seatbelt", but didn't hear if that was "the" reason or secondary to the reason he was pulled over.

It's tough for me to believe he was speeding.  As the going rate, even 3-5 hours prior to the game is mostly a slow crawl around stadiums on game days, at least in my experience.

Side Note:  Jeff Darlington was in Miami yesterday.

No, that was an attempt at humor by me.

 

That Body Cam is only part of the story but it is clear in both cases the Fins were uncooperative.

I watched it and it seems if Tyreek rolls the window down like asked maybe this episode would have been avoided.

Why did he roll his window back up in the middle of the traffic stop. I think 10 out of 10 cops would have an issue with that. Of he was on the phone with his agent, so maybe agent told him to roll his window up.

Right, all he had to do was leave the window down, stay off the phone, and cooperate.

Especially with tint that dark.  Easy way to get a gun pointed at you.

 

To me this all makes the Miami/Buffalo game on Thursday night more interesting. 

I think we know where the Dolphins stand on the incident. 

 

I’m not sure anyone can defend Hill for how it started. It was predictable given his history. 

But the question is, did it have to be taken to the point it got to? I believe the Dolphins feel they will win that side of the argument in the court of public opinion as evident by their response and going public. Is that what an officer would be trained to do in that situation? Don’t know, just asking what the protocol is?
