Hardin County Preps Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Things go from bad to worse for a Central Hardin team going on the road for a week 2 matchup with Manual. Central Hardin gave up huge chunks of yardage on the ground and thru the air vs GRC. The CH offensive line was porous and didn't give sophomore QB Caleb Wilson any time to run the triple wishbone offense. The execution on offense has got to get better in week 2 or this game will get away from them quickly. CH has got to contain Manual RB Gerian Traynor if it wants to keep this game close. Against GRC, this was the worst Central Hardin offense I have witnessed from an execution, effort, and physicality standpoint in 14 years. 1

Hardin County Preps Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 I agree Purple88. This one could be a running clock in the second half.
MBKT Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 CH comes out of this game 0-2 with two non competitive games. The wheels may be off after that for the Bruins.
Hearsay Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 How long do the Bruin faithful give Stockdale if the season is a dumpster fire?

My thought is the previous coach knew the well was about to run dry on the talent. With Stockdale being several options down the list he will probably not get long.
Hardin County Preps Posted August 28, 2024 Author Posted August 28, 2024 There was a reason that Tyler Marttingly, Tim Mattingly’s son took the position at Elizabethtown instead of taking over for his dad at Central Hardin.
thunderbuddies4life Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Maybe the previous coaches "archaic" offense wasn't such a bad idea the previous 10 years.

Not sure he was ever offered the opportunity to take over for his dad.
Hardin County Preps Posted August 31, 2024 Author Posted August 31, 2024 Unbelievable score. At the half. Central Hardin 7 Manual 0
