NewCath coming off a big win against Lloyd, healthy and ready to keep rolling. They will be taking on Walton Verona week 2. Looks like Walton is a little banged up as they are looking to get that first win of the season after losing to Bishop Brossart.

Between Walton being as young as they are and how both looked against last night’s opponents, I I’d think NCC wins without trouble.

I stand by my prior statement; one game does not make a season. NNC needs to enjoy the win and get back to work.  Procedure penalties need to be cleaned up. Hydration will be critical this week with the weather forecast. Time to work on technique and fine tune.  Walton may allow that opportunity.  If they want to meet their end goal, it's not a time to let up. Each week is a new test.  Time to build momentum and get better.

NCC by a long shot. I said this in a NCC preseason post that NCC should not worry about their QB situation with Lickert at the helm and from my understanding their QB played very well last week vs Lloyd. NCC probably won't need to pass the ball in this one much but I think he still goes for 175+ with 2 TD's. 1 pass 1 rush. 41-7.

If WV doesn't get their QB back this one will be ugly.  NCC by a lot.

I don’t think anyone is worried. It was more preseason uncertainty. Miles can sling it, and they certainly got several horses that can make plays downfield. The dudes up front will ultimately dictate how successful this team will be IMO. Lots to still improve, I hope they just stay focused and get better. Their chemistry and culture is impressive to witness on the field so far this year.

I expect Cole to have a big night.

Any updates? Anyone? If so much appreciated.
