His statement didn't say anything about the transfer portal or leaving options open like most do. It was just, he's declaring for the draft.

I think by default now, anyone who declares can return to college.

Yeah I think you're right. But most mention the possibility in the statement they put on. Edwards didn't, for whatever that is worth.

 Bronny just declared but will keep his college eligibility and enter the transfer portal as well.

Are there any no no's like don't hire an agent, don't accept money from an agent, etc that would prevent a player from returning to college?

Used to be that way, but with NIL now an issue, certainly these athletes have lawyers (see agents) to help them handle that area of business.

Once NIL started, it opened the door for agents. A lot of these guys have agents in college now. In short, no, they just have to remove their name by the deadline, which is June 1st.

Sorry, but if you have "handlers", you are asking to get fleeced of every penny you have.    Hire a lawyer, and hire a lawyer to watch that lawyer.  And maybe one more to watch that one.

I think they can have agents now while in school playing.

Rob Dillingham has declared for the NBA Draft and will forgo his remaining college eligibility
