UConn 75 Purdue 60 (NCAA Championship)

Final what a 6-game run for UConn. I guess what a 12-game run over 2 years. This year was the single best margin of victory for a tournament in the history of the NCAA Tournament.

Best offense I have seen in college in a long time. Love the motion, the picks after picks after picks. Everyone involved and moving. Fun to watch.

They are so active both offensively and defensively. Just a joy of a team to watch. Far and away the best team in the country.

I figured that UConn was going to repeat, which is very hard to do and even more so now than ever before. The Huskies really impressed me on both sides of the ball. Their winning record outside of the Big East has been amazing and obviously not so bad within it.

Impressive on both ends, nothing flashy just solid ball.

I think that’s what makes them even better. Many players and teams need to figure this out more.

I wasn’t sure specifically when or on what play, but it really did seem like Edey threw in the towel.

How did anyone beat UConn this year?  Creighton beat them by 19 on Feb 20.  Obviously, a great team, but not invincible.
