January 25, 200719 yr I have been watching this Rockets- Spurs game on ESPN and Hayes has been guarding Duncan the whole fourth quarter and the announcers have not stopped talking about the effort that Hayes is putting on Duncan.He has really stopped Duncan in the fourth and I cannot think of nothing but positive things about him. Keep up the hard work Chuck. :thumb:

January 25, 200719 yr Chuck Hayes is a true Basketball Player - all class , all hustle and determination. He is a bright spot in the NBA that is basically full of tattoo bearing thugs. Duncan is also a class act along with T. Prince. Imo it is a short list of class acts in the NBA. I will try to watch Hayes and Prince whenever their teams are on and that is about it. Imo you can certainly tell that those two (Hayes and Prince) bought into Tubby Smiths system and values.

January 25, 200719 yr You all can say "his team won" & that's all good & dandy. I was talking about Chuck Hayes, not the Rockets. Hayes did not play good. Unless your alls definition of good is scoring 2 points in an NBA game then thumbs up to ya.

January 25, 200719 yr A good game is not measured in statistics. I didn't watch the game but did Duncan have had all his points early in the game, and then Hayes shut him down at the end?
January 25, 200719 yr Duncan was 5-12 in the first half; I happened to turn on the game at halftime and they were saying that McGrady was the only player on either side who hit 50%+ for the half. Don't know how Duncan did after that, or when Hayes was defending him vs. when he wasn't.
