I agree, however, when the two Jackson brothers had a total of 10 fouls and 0 points it's time to step up. Rose Hill must have better production out of those two in particular to be successful. Quite a difference when you realize R.H. is not a physical team , didnt press, or foul at the end in an attempt to get back in the game.

 

That's an excellent point. I think that with their athleticism Rose Hill should press a lot more and be a lot more active on the floor. I think that if they did that more it would change the pace of the game and make it more of a style that they play best. I did notice that when Johnny Bush entered the game he helped pick up the pace. Johnny doesn't have the skills of some of the other players, but he makes up for it with his hustle and grit.

I think they stopped by DQ for some crow.

Did you realize with 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter R.H. was playing with one 8th grader, two 9th graders , one soph., and one junior.I would say the future is bright.

Rose Hill played a zone defense for most of the game.

If they only shot 4 free throws for the game, I'd say they were not being agressive enough.

The referees (by their fouls called )thought they were agressive

If they were being aggressive, they would've went into the paint with a purpose and drawn from fouls, IMO.

I wasn't at the game, and I didn't even get to listen to it on the internet. I only wish that Ashland had earned the win, instead of having the refs give it to them.

Ashland did earn the win my dear Francis. They were well coached and the players played hard. It is however very obvious when an official is looking for a certain player such as Coldiron was looking for the younger Jackson tonight. He sure enough found him but I bet he doesnt get the chance to do it again.

The Royals are young and they will be bounce back. I dont know many freshmen that could have 14 rebounds and 12 points and consider it a bad game. Dakatoh keep working hard!!!
