Dakatah moved to the ashland area his 3rd grade year. His brother played at Ashland High School. Darrell Arbaugh. He signed with Furman University in 2003.

We don't like the things you are saying about Dakota. You have not see him play much if you think he gets rattled. Dakota and Chad have lead their AAU team to five strait State Championships.

The Royals are young and they will be bounce back. I dont know many freshmen that could have 14 rebounds and 12 points and consider it a bad game. Dakatoh keep working hard!!!

Dont panic just because the YOUNG royals had a minor set back. We all knew that this was going to be a season where they can beat anyone, and get beat by anyone. They are making progress faster than any of us thought they would at this point. I believe they will bounce back and have a good game at Ashland. Although a win would be great, I think a strong showing would be just as good at this point in the season on Ashlands floor. Russell didnt panic when they got beat by Boyd Co. and the royals shouldnt now. It is disappointing not to get to go to EKU but they will have many more chances. Keep your head up and play the game. young teams dont have pressure its the teams with the seniors that have all the pressure. :thumb: :thumb: They have been plenty of good teams that lost a game they felt they shouldnt have. Ashland Beat Greenup County by I believe 54 in 1975 in regular season but guess who knocked of the Tomcats in the Region Semifinals. Anything can happen, thats what makes the game what it is.

I agree that is better to develope players. It is always better to pick a starting team out of two teams. My question is this. Do you think that Greenup County has ever, or will ever get over the Mckell, Greenup, Wurtland fued? I believe this is why it is such a hard place to coach. I heard so many people say they should have been two schools. One in South Shore and One on the property that Jesse Stuart was donating on W-Hollow 3 miles out Route 1 in Greenup. I have enjoyed the middle school rivalry's over the past several years, but lately my thoughts have changed. I know the kids get over the rivary but do the parents, and is this where all the trouble comes from at the high school level???

Greenup county has 2 middle schools that feed the high school programs. Is this a plus or does it cause conflict at the high school level?? Should they play each other???? :argue: and :fight:

I Think If Russell draws Greenup, There is a good chance they may not be at Morehead. Greenup played russell tough at home. A team going through so much adversity and still winning will be scarey come District time. But of Course I always wish ex Rose Hill players the best. :thumb:

He can dunk and he is 15. He hasnt dunked in a game yet. Hopefully he will grow 2 more inches. He still looks young. His jumping will get better when he matures some. His Older Brother couldnt throw it down until his sophmore year. By his senior year he was ramming it home hard.

Mabe they do and dont want the general public to know. Mabe they have been advised by their legal team, at this time it would be better not to go public. This is the most intelligent statement since this thread started. All anyone knows is the He said she said stuff. Im sorry but that dont get it. Even if your know one party or the other. They might not be telling the truth. They are much more to this than any of us know.:creepy: :creepy:

Fairview does have a great coaching staff. no doubt about it, but as stated so many times its not about x's and o's it about Jimmy's and Joe's. Fairview has a nice team, Ill give you that and on a given night can beat anybody in the 16th. The problem is you have to beat three good teams in a row at Morehead. I dont think they can do that this year. They are about 4 to 5 teams that can do that in the 16th. Russell, Rose Hill, Greenup, Elliott, Ashland, IMO.

Dont be to quick to judge against the superintendent. He has to be sure to cover all the bases. This is not as simple as it sounds. I believe that they are another civil suit Hicks has against the school. I'm sure that the school is listening to their legal advise at this point. I know the superintendent, he goes by the book no matter who it effects. Like I said dont judge until all the facts are on the table. It may suprise you. The school system is doing very well other than the trouble with the basketball program.:eek: :eek: :eek:

You have to give the coaching staff at Raceland alot of credit. Rose Hill is very good team and to hold them to these numbers was something else. I have to admit, did not see this one. I agree with the previous poster. Dakotah Euton showed alot of maturity. This team is young and as I've said before, this is gona be a year where they beat people they shouldnt,but they will also get beat by people they shouldnt. Keep your heads up. Many good days ahead.
