Arrests frustrate Palmer

Featured Replies

After reading this I get the feeling he has had enough.I almost wonder if he would like to get out of here.

It has to stop,” Palmer said hours after he heard the news. “If it doesn’t stop, we’re not going to have any fans left and I don’t blame them. It’s ridiculous. We can’t get through a month without getting a guy arrested. It happens on another team and they’re shocked and surprised to hear about it. With us, you hear about it and it doesn’t surprise you and you just shake your head and say, ‘Another one.’ ”

I don't blame Palmer. Normally, I would say that the team should keep their comments in house. But, I don't blame him for this. All the other players should say the same thing. Peer revision might work.

Who could blame him....

QB is the leader of the his team and I'm guessing, similar comments were made in the locker room, by Coaches and others.

Perhaps all involved, can get focused back on football and leave the off field issues, for good.

throw them all in jail. Not just the Bengals, anyone who uses drugs.

Carson must be hard set on playing for the Bengals...I personally don't know why he'd want to stay there.

Um, because Cincinnati is sweet, duh...

I am sure that comments have been made in the locker room and obviously they have fallen on deaf ears. So you take other avenues to try and get your point across.

I started to post earlier regarding where is the leadership on this team. Palmer beat me to the punch. Someone must be the stand up guy, otherwise the team will continue to lose credibility. It's about time someone took a public stand. I am not a Bengals fan, but I am a Carson Palmer fan. I think he did the right thing.

:thumb: :thumb: Exactly! Palmer is right, enough is enough and it has been far past enough for a long time.

Palmer solidified himself as the true leader of this team with these comments not just on the field, but off. IMO, this is what the Bengals needed

Im sure he has had enough. I know that if I worked with a bunch of thugs I'd be thinking about another job too.

Sounds like he's more of a team leader than Marvin is. :sssh:

Probably 3/4ths of the players in the NFL would be in jail then...
