Yeh, Greenwood was affected as well when SW was built. The thing is (and this is the elephant in the room) that the demographics at WC now just don’t care about sports. That’s reality. The ones that do just aren’t as good (except for boys basketball). 

A novel could be written about the last 15 years at WC and everything that’s transpired over that time. It’s honestly unbelievable. 

Any updates on finding a new coach?

Pretty confident in saying it won't be Tyreon Clark.

I am curious what direction the administration is leaning here. Obviously no way to ever know what the pool of applicants looks like, but I can't help but wonder if its slim.

I wish the best of luck to the Dragons. It's hard not to root for those kids and the program after all it has been through.

No. I'm not really sure what the hold up is on why nothing has been announced.

Clark is doing DB’s at Bowling Green.

Jeremy Harness?  If it is Harness I wish him the best of luck.  He was a fantastic player at John Hardin.  This would be the third "college" coaching hire the Dragons will have made in 10 years. The other 2 didn't fair well for various reasons.

If I were a Dragon supporter, I would not be optimistic that the same interim principal, that has almost single handily destroyed Warren Central Football since 2016, is involved in making this hire.  Hopefully he wasn't involved.

Big time get for BG! Not sure how WC handled the situation, but it’s clear he wasn’t given the opportunity to continue to build. This is a hit to their respective program at both levels.

No. He was principal at the time, then left a year or two later. His successor took the principal job at Glasgow this summer, so they brought Stevenson back as interim. I was not pleased about that. But I also don’t know if he was involved in this hiring process.

Job was listed open on 1/22, have to think it would be any day now but who knows what the hold up is.

Not sure why it took them so long to announce, given that I'm pretty sure they've known for quite some time. But it's Harness.
