Wow, we got out of there with a win.

Played more composed in the second half.  Some good plays and some stupid plays down the stretch.  Take that win and get home. 

I mean, I know you can’t put yourself in that position and NOT excusing it, but didn’t Sheppard cleanly block that shot or were we not given a clear enough replay of the contact?

That is what Jay Bilas calls winning with toughness. Very impressed with the will, determination and toughness this team showed today. Very good win for UK.

Some dumb coaching and dumb play BOTH the last 30 sec!!  C’mon Reed, LET him shoot it, who cares if he makes it!!!!  AND I doubt anybody on this board would put BOTH of your 2 worst defensive players in the game together with 30 sec left!!!

Taking care of the ball in the second half and only losing the rebound battle by three, against arguably the nation’s best rebounding team, was ultimately the difference.

Yes. Ended with 9.

Clayton & Pullin both had 23.  Good guards.

Mitchell had 12 & 10.  Reeves led UK with 19.  Wagner & Sheppard both 14.  Bradshaw 10.

That's impressive. 

Nice win in their first true road game of the season. I don’t count the Louisville game as a true road game, since there was more UK fans that day. Lots to improve still, but I thought overall good coaching and toughness by the team in this game. They kept their composure and kept battling, even though Florida kept pulling back ahead anytime it got close most of the second half. Then found a way to make the plays and shots at the end when they had to have them. 
 

While it was stupid for Sheppard to even try to attempt to block that last shot, I honestly do think he got it cleanly.  He is so dang good at timing that and getting his hand where the ball is at the release point. 

Take that Vegas! Man that line moved so much.
