January 22, 200719 yr Hang on a second! I've never agreed with this law that a person can be charged if drugs are found in the car that he is a passenger in. If he has the drugs on him, thats different. Like my pappy always told me. "I'm not going to tell you who to hang out with. I'll have to trust that you've been taught properly. If you decide to run around with the wrong crowd and get into a situation that gets your tail plopped in the Riverside Motel (Whitley County jailhouse), do not, under any circumstances, call home." That warning worked on my kid too. Agree with the law or not, he should have known better and not placed himself in that situation.
