After Taylor obliterated Green it removes all hope for a competitive game.  OCath is on a mission.  They are too focused to sleepwalk especially at Steele Stadium.

I don't see a path to Green winning. They are not very good considering their schedule. Catholic would kill Taylor Co and Hart Co. If I was a Catholic fan I would just stay home or in a deer stand.

I’m not so certain they would have killed Hart, and I am certain they wouldn’t have killed Taylor.

Green played Hart extremely close, with chances to tie the game multiple times, but credit to Hart, they responded and made plays when needed to stop drives and cause turnovers.
The Taylor game is the worst game I’ve seen the dragons play since coach Phelps arrived, that’s easily the worst they could have played. With that said, credit Taylor, they came to play and smashed the Dragons in every aspect.

I’m not ignorant to the fact the Dragons have a big up hill battle, but they aren’t a terrible team, and with some luck and a few bounces going there way, could keep this game semi competitive. Either way, I wish both teams luck and hope both stay healthy.

They need all the fans of the other schools not going to Louisville to come and support.

This is spoken like a true Owensboro fan. Owensboro Catholic fans don’t get on here and talk like that.

If that kid is out that is a huge loss for Green. I thought I heard or read somewhere you can’t appeal ejections anymore. We will see.

As a O Cath fan I hope we get a big crowd out for this game. This is for a Regional Championship against a somewhat unfamiliar opponent and these kids deserve the support.

Some OC fans have told me that the Aces are actually playing a class higher since their enrollment would put them in 1A.   The reason has to with the difficulty of scheduling 1A teams in their area.   True or not?

I do t think he was meaning anything derogatory or rude to anyone. I think as an Owensboro fan he was just saying that O Cath is a solid team and this could be a potential for a blow out. I’m pretty sure that OC. Is not looking past this game and they will be focused on this game.

False. They are one of the smallest 2A schools but still at 2A level enrollment.

Green has a good program and is a tough out for anyone.  They did lay an egg against Taylor just like Owensboro did against Madisonville.   So who knows how they will come out swinging.  They have the ability to create some havoc and they aren’t a pushover. Good luck to both teams.

I wouldn’t say they ain’t a good team. They are a quality team not sure why people take shots at other teams just because they are outmatched in a game.

Why would you be in a deer stand at 7pm?

Any updates on the ineligible player?

The best time to be in the deer stand.

I haven't heard anything in the rumor mill. Will be a big blow if he can't go. I would hate my Senior season to end on this note, but who knows.

He's a senior? That's not good.

IMO, they will keep it hush hush if the appeal gets passed.
