The Dragons make the trip to Owensboro Catholic this Friday night, in what could be a long night for the Dragons.

The Dragons hope to contain the high flying passing attack of Catholic and control the line of scrimmage and work the clock and control the football, but that’s an easier said than done task.

The Dragons face an uphill battle in this one, but hope to catch lightning in a bottle and shock the state, in what would be a huge upset.

What’s your thoughts on this one?

I don't see a path to Green winning. They are not very good considering their schedule. Catholic would kill Taylor Co and Hart Co. If I was a Catholic fan I would just stay home or in a deer stand.

They need all the fans of the other schools not going to Louisville to come and support.

  • I’m not so certain they would have killed Hart, and I am certain they wouldn’t have killed Taylor. Green played Hart extremely close, with chances to tie the game multiple times, but credit to Ha

I had heard Green County may be without a pretty good player this week due to an ejection?  Is that true?

I heard it’s their best DB and running back. If that’s the case do they have anyone they can fill his shoes?

Possible. Depending on Review.

They have some tanleted kids that can step up on offense side of the ball. Will definitely be hurt on deffense side.

I don't think it matters if the kid plays or not. If he was unjustly ejected I hope he gets re-instated but if it was warranted then so be it.

Either way not a good night for Green Co.

Anything possible. However Green Will Have to play a flawless Game. Have a couple of lucky plays, and some odd ball turnovers to have a chance to keep this close. Hopefully they can at least keep it from being a running clock.

After Taylor obliterated Green it removes all hope for a competitive game.  OCath is on a mission.  They are too focused to sleepwalk especially at Steele Stadium.

Taylor did lay a smackdown on Green for sure. Probably the worst I seen them play since the hart co game. Green has a Explosive offense and Taylor shut them down. We will see what happens come Friday night. I'm honestly gonna be watching the Boyle vs Corbin game.

Taylor and Hart are really good teams.  I think Catholic would get them, but handling Peyton Smith would be tough.
