Hart County 28 Glasgow 21

About what I figured. Great game.

With Belfry out now I am officially a Hart County and East Carter fan in 3A.

GREAT Win for Hart County!  Glasgow gave them a run, but Hart hung in there and now move on.

Has Hart County ever been to the Regional Final Round?

No. Last year was the first time Hart County had ever won a playoff game when they beat Trigg County in the first round.

Hart Co scores game sealing touchdown off an illegal formation. 5 men in the backfield. Hate to see incompetent officials miss a call like that in a close game.

They haven’t. Last year they won their first ever playoff game and this year they won the first ever district title and will be playing in the regional final for the first time ever.

I hope they are able to pull it off against Union, but that’s gonna be a tough game as well.

Thanks GC!  Go Hart County!

Who made the decision for Glasgow to play up in 3A? They were 2A enrollment and would have been in the Green, Metcalfe, Monroe, Clinton district. They would likely still be playing if they stayed in 2A. Especially with a Senior dominant team. I never understood that decision at all.

Go Raiders!

The game against Union County is shaping up to be a good one.

The program made the decision. Running clock teams before halftime wasn’t going to be much fun. I think Glasgow would’ve been heads above the teams in their 2A district.  However, outside of the district, Owensboro Catholic, LCA, Mayfield, Beechwood, and Somerset are arguably tougher opponents than Union Co, Franklin-Simpson, Hart Co, East Carte.

I think Green County would've been a nice district championship game for them. But I agree, the road was more favorable in 3A past district play.

Not much of a sharpie game after all, eh?

Only teasing. It was a great watch last night.
