What I see here on BGP is nothing compared to what I see on Facebook.  

As a Beechwood grad, former player, and former coach, I hated the uniforms.  We looked like Ludlow.  Please don't do it again Coach, horrible...

I think they look fine.

Agreed!

Uniforms not necessary, did not look good, and were a waste of either  parents money or athletic booster/department money. If donated by a uniform provider, that donation could’ve been used in a much better place than Ft Mitchell.

As a Beechwood grad, I like the traditional red and white.  Sounds like the kids liked it though, and it brought some fun to the evening.  Hope it isn’t a permanent thing.  What do I know?  My kids will tell you that I am out of touch as I sit here in my mom jeans with my TV turned up too loud.

The kids like them, that is all that matters. The Facebook comments still have me laughing, grow up people! 

Agreed The Conch, it’s unbelievable.   I wish that’s all I had to worry about was what color uniforms a team wore on a Friday night.

I don't do Facebook so no clue on what's happening there beyond what I am reading here. But my recommendation is any one complaining there about the uniforms, do not invite them to your next party. All they will do is complain that the music is too loud and you hid the good bourbon.

Exactly .. bad.   It was gimmicky and a bad look.  Especially against an 0-10 opponent.  If you think you need that  extra motivation (as a17x state champion, I argue Beechwood does not) use it in the semifinals.   Programs with strong traditions don’t need gimmicks for motivation.   Can you imagine Alabama coming out in a black or grey uniform against Vanderbilt?
