Bengals NEED to get a Super Bowl win before he's gone.   Guys on the team love him and he's been great for the Bengals.

Agreed as I do think this will be his last year with the Bengals. No way he doesn’t end up with a head coaching job next year. 
 

Which if and when he does leave. The guy I think they will replace him with is current Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden. Lots of experience in both college and the NFL. Taylor has shown he likes hiring guys with college ties. Plus Golden was the linebacker coach here under Lou for two years, including the Super Bowl year in 2021. I think he would be the Bengals main target if and when Lou does leave after this year.

I don't mind the passes to Smith.  His fumble was a simple pitch and catch.  He just needs to secure the ball.  I would have run it there though.

What I don't like are the jet sweeps to Chase.  Everyone on the defense follows him.  Maybe they are putting those on film to set up for a double reverse at some point.  

I hope Taylor had a brief word with Chase to stop the backflips.  He may have stuck that one, but he is too valuable to risk serious injury if he misses on the next one.  Keep doing the Griddy instead.

Almosr everybody plays without somebody as you get deeper into the season. Bengals played their first 6 with injury issues.
