January 19, 200719 yr K. Azubuike had his best night to date in his young NBA career on Wed. night as he scored 28 points in the Warriors 115--109 loss to the LA Clippers. Kaz played the entire 48 minutes as he also pulled down 7 rebounds and had two steals. Azubuike was 8-17 from the field, including 4-8 from the 3pt line, and was 8-12 from the charity stripe. It looks like Azubuike has found a home in the NBA. :dancingpa :dancingpa :ylsuper: :ylsuper: Box Score
January 19, 200719 yr He played 48 minutes and only had 1 turnover, that alone is impressive. He's also shooting 52% from 3 for the season. Buike is going to have a very nice NBA career IMO.

That is something I do agree with about on Buike and that is that he will definitely have a nice career in the NBA...:thumb:
January 19, 200719 yr He's in a good place to begin his career. Golden State isn't very good, but they get up and down the floor. He doesn't have much pressure, but gets plenty of looks. If he bides his time in the Bay Area, keeps putting up big numbers, someone will be looking to make a deal for him.
January 19, 200719 yr I'm happy for this young man. Maybe he can rescue his family from turmoil and correct his dad's mistakes. Good job Kelenna.
January 19, 200719 yr He definately has an nba body... Go CATS!!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/photo?photoId=1406454&team=gsw
January 19, 200719 yr Could he be considered for a Rookie of the Year Award? His stats are by far better than most others. I don't want this to be a jinx, because I really do like Azubuike, but everytime he scores double-figures, the Warriors lose.

January 19, 200719 yr :thumb: That is great news. I am tickled to death for him that everything is falling into place. He seemed like a great kid while at UK and fought through some tough personal battles so I hope he has a long and successful NBA career.
January 19, 200719 yr Not to be a spoilsport, but the only reason he logged so many minutes was because of the trade. The Warriors were shorthanded (only playing seven players) and played something called a Renaldo Major. Though I wish he did, Buike won't log as many minutes as he did the other night. It does, however, look like he's found a niche in the NBA. Best of luck to him!

He took full advatage of the mins.IF he can put up 28 pts he is going to get the minutes no matter what team he is playing for.

His productivity on the court will dictate how many minutes he gets. If he continues as is, he may have a long future in the league.
