Nice win by the Maroons. 

I will be real interested to hear from the OHS people on this one. I don’t think Madisonville got a ton of respect but they look like a quality team.

No defense at all.  Secondary is awol.  Worst O defense I can remember.

I think the Maroons were not getting very much respect in the predictions thread. Hopefully they have finally earned it!

These two teams and Graves County were pretty close in RPI. Anyone know who will have inside edge on top seed now? This was a very consequential result. 

Congrats to the Maroons. Their offense can do damage. As for Owensboro this game solidified to me what I’m sure others knew weeks ago. The Red Devils have no shot this year. Very likely we’re out in second round. I just hope we continue to build. The defense should be ashamed. Worse defensive performance I’ve ever seen by the Red Devils. The offense is good just not clutch.

Owensboro is regressing. No heart on defense tonight. Let's face it, this entire district is out by 2nd round anyway. Currently O still leads in RPI, but calculations are still coming in for tonight.

Maroons only scores 14 on Union and Graves though. I can’t reconcile that in my head. 

I kinda thought this was a game we could struggle in. Madisonville had the speed and size to compete with us and they did. Hats off to them.

We just don’t have the pieces on defense. We’re usually known for having a speedy defense. This year we have allowed avg/decent running backs to beat us to the edge. And the tackling/coverage performance all season has been lethargic. 

Wow!  I didn't expect this.  I admit I know next to nothing about Madisonville team this year.  Tip of the hat to them.  The O guys say they have no heart; well we are going to really find out what they are made of from here.  Lose a game like this and it should make you circle the wagons.  How do you come out to fight in the next one?  Hendo won't come in and lay over.

Judging by what Hendo just did to Christian County. Will most likely be another shoot out in which we likely lose because we haven’t been able to finish out a close game all season. Soooo much for coach Fallin to work on this off season…. After tonight’s game I’m in next season mode unfortunately. This will be the earliest playoff exist in at least 5 yrs. Going off memory.
