I love Jasper's game, he will be nasty if he ever decides to shoot from the outside. Right now his whole game is predicated on driving and dishing, and that's always a positive from the point but he'll need to provide some shooting to keep the defenses from surrounding our only true post player.

Reminds me more of Wayne Turner than Rondo. Plays within the system, more interested in making his teamates better, just a better teamate all the way around.

I would like for him to show a little emotion every now and then. Other than that I am very very pleased with him.

I personally like a player that stays even keel, especially in a point guard. Jasper will be a leader by example rather than a "rah rah" type guy. JMO

Anyway he may be better than Mr.Rondo when he leaves lexington, he already has a better jumper, and is all around game reminds me a lot of Rondo.

And with a FAR better attitude. ;) Rondo who???:D

Emotion can be describes many ways. I think he lets his play define his emotion. I like the fact that he doesn't bring attention to himself. There is enough hotdogs in todays sports world and it is good to see a guy act like he does for a change.

:thumb: Excellent post. It brings to mind the old saying, "Action speaks louder than words".

Good story about the young man.

I don't mean by show boating or anything like that. Just a little something every now and then to let me know he's excited.

Can't go wrong with one being 6'6 and 210 either. :thumb:

Is he 6'6,210???

Is he 6'6,210???

UK has him listed as 6'6 213.. You better ask GT how big he really is though. ;)

Like GT can tell from way down there :jump:

I'm not sure how anyone can discern 1 inch unless they take out a tape measure and measure the kid.

I could maybe buy 6'5...

It's the human tape measure.

Been right by the kid a couple of times, and you better buy 6'5 quickly b/c he is somewhere between 6'5 and 6'6.

Jasper is 6'4? So now Crawford is 6'1 or 6'2.

I guess Ramel is now 5'11.

Bobby Perry is 6'5.

Stevenson is 6'7.

Should I continue?
