Brossart is the all "a" team to beat.

Brossart is a clear cut favorite and should advance to the finals. They play tenacious defense and have size as well as a very scrappy outside shooter in Uebel. Not the prettiest team to watch but they git er done.

Their "momentum" will not be able to carry them past Gallatin or Owen. In their last three games, they only beat Trimble by 6 points, lost to Simon-Kenton (who was not at full strength) and beat Carroll handily (a team that is having a down year). One 20+ win does not create momentum.

 

Okay buddy!! just cause Walton blew trimble away the first game and then beat them again the second game doesnt mean they dont have a chance!! oh and by the way....... I saw tThat Simon-Kenton team that you say is not at full strength just play GRC and was losing by two the whole game until the last two minutes.. So i think you might want to check what your saying!!! cause if it was trimble playing that sk team they would have lost by forty!!! OWW.. and just for your information.. Walton also was beating Henry by twent five the whole second half tonight until the end.. and i am pretty sure that is the same Henry team that beat Gallatin!!! So thanks for your opinions.. cause they really dont mean anything!!!:sssh:

I agree with NkySleeper. Walton is playing really good ball right now. LIke when they played in Florida beating teams by 30 and 25. With LLoyd Monday night and then Owen Co. Friday. I wouldn't be surprised with a few shockers.

June Buchanon has the guard play and big kids to play with anybody in the All A. I have not seen UHA. Can their perimeter people play?

I think we are jumping the gun a little bit here. The Bearcats will have to play Owen Co. in the semifinals. The Rebels have the best player, by far, are 13-4, and have already beaten Walton 53-24 this season.

If I was putting together an All A top 10, it would look something like this:

 

1. Bishop Brossart

2. University Heights

3. Rose Hill

4. St. Henry

5. June Buchanan

6. Newport Catholic

7. Hazard

8. Mayfield

9. Clinton County

10. Covington Holy Cross or Paintsville

 

That would have been before Raceland pounded Rose Hill and Brossart lost to Pendleton County ...

It should be a closer game than before and yes Neely will be the best player on the court when these two teams play. Too quick for Walton guards.

Since you are comparing scores, Gallatin manhandled Anderson Co. (they led by 21 in the 4th and won by 8, kinda like the Walton-Henry game tonight). Shelby struggled to beat Anderson.

Does that mean Gallatin will beat Shelby? No. Comparing scores is meaningless.

I think it will be closer, too. And Walton might win. But everybody is talking about how the Bearcats will fare against Gallatin. I just think most are sleeping on Owen.
