What teams have their punter back with a 38 yard average or more?

Featured Replies

Jordan Morgan returns for Leslie Co. He averages around 40 yds. per punt.

FCHS is getting Shawn Thompson back he avergaged around 40 or more not sure the exact. he was only a freshman.

Who is FCHS, oldonetechniquie?

Franklin County Sorry. Shawn is a big kid 6'3 220, will compete for the QB spot next year also.

South Oldham's Cody Malone 6'2 210 (will be a Junior). Averaged 37.8 last year in his first year as a punter. If you round up it is 38 yds.

What is his class and size?

Thanks.

He'll be a senior next year. He's not big at all. 5'8 170. Starts OLB and RB. He gets good air, not great. He seemed to get the roll everytime last year, though. That really bumped his average up. What was really impressive is that he had 14 punts inside the 10.

Can't think of any punters off hand with that avg. However I will say that not many H.S punters avg a legit 40 yard avg. And don't forget hang time and operation time.

How did you pick 38?

Duh, it's 24 yards less than 62.

I was looking at some D-3 teams and a lot of the punters were in that area or less.

I can't remember: Is the football used in college bigger than its high school counterpart?

KY H.S. uses the Rawlings ball "playoffs at least", I think it would be hard to find a college team using Rawlings footballs. Mostly Wilson and Nike. That being said they are very very simular. Size and weight.

That's what I think, anybody else??
