I was too TBC!  So I went and looked at the info on the riherds KHSAA page and noticed 2 important starters for Manual didn't play.  SO RB Gerian Traynor, who had 160 yards rushing vs South Warren, who I know you know is a stingy rush defense and WR/S Aiden Blakey.  2 pretty important guys for Manual.

Manual had -15 yards rushing.  

Not to take away from a very talented CAL team, but just to balance the equation some.

NF, at the South Warren v Manual game I saw Washburn on the sideline, but he hasn't played since early in the season.  I assume he's still on the team, just injured.

This game was 41-7 at half - never in doubter and huge win by CAL.  Very tough team.

No doubt that hurts Manual, plus not having Zeke Washburn, but they still scored 36 points, which to not have those players and still score that many is surprising.  However, what surprised me the most was them giving up 54.  I know CAL has a nice offense, but I would not have guessed that Manual would give up 54 points to them.

Every team is likely banged up this time of year.  Not to take away from Manuel but Cal had a starting linebacker AND last years leading receiver both in street clothes on Friday.  You just have to show up and play with the cards you are dealt.
