Trinity 45 Saint Xavier 10

Trinity dominated in every phase of the game.  Congrats to the Shamrocks!

Rocks brought a lot of energy tonight. 509 yds of offense. Zane Johnson was fantastic. Rocks defense was solid. Running game was solid. This is what the doctor ordered. Will they keep it up?

New seat for the old coach this week...no heat in this seat!!!

I was concerned about St. X defense before season since was replacing 7 starters and last two games have been swiss cheese. I saw earlier in game Sam Crum who starts at safety got injured which didn't help. I'm probably most disappointed in offense who I thought would play better but Trinity defense looked like the defense I thought they could be at beginning of season. They certainly looked like a champion caliber team tonight.

Shoutout to Trinity students who came out in force tonight.

Can anyone tell me how Trinity can be two different teams from week to week?

Not sure I’ve ever seen a team be this dominate against solid competition and then play 4-5 touchdowns worse the very next week.
Makes for a very entertaining playoff picture.

I would assume a lot of crow ate after this one.  Good reminder at the end of the day we really don’t know what teenagers will do on a given night.

Coach Cobb is a veteran coach, and no doubt knows what he signed up for following a legend.  But human element, makes it great that they can have a tremendous performance and silence some doubts.  Makes sports great!
