The Beechwood Tigers open play in their new district this Friday hosting the Gallatin County Wildcats. This game originally was scheduled at Gallatin County but the new turf field there is not completed yet so the Tigers will be hosting. The Tigers come off a tough loss to neighborhood rival Covington Catholic. That was the first loss of the season for Beechwood and their first home loss in 3 years. Gallatin County comes into the game 3-1 but all their wins have been against 1A opponents. The only previous meeting between these two in the past 25 years was in the playoffs in 2010 with the Tigers winning that game 55-0. Beechwood features one of the top passing offenses in the state. Can the Wildcats hold the Tigers and get the big upset?

With the low numbers for Beechwood this year, and a "name the score" as we are all saying, will any Freshmen see any time?

In the 4th quarters hopefully. The only freshman getting significant playing time is wunderkind Tyler Fryman.
