Lol, they were!  But football got much better in the 80’s and 90’s.

My family only breaks out our tartan for formal occasions. A solid W tonight is all the breeze I need blowing up my skirt.

Only 1 game in the series history has either team scored 50+. Beechwood will need to hang 60 to win tonight. Can't see them slowing CCH's offense down at all. Head's telling me Cov Cath by 3+ scores.

Number 85 is my brother.  Those boys are all good friends to this day. Number 84’s nephew is now Beechwood’s principal.  Of course, number 7 is the infamous Mike Yeagle.  Good times!

He even had the swagger back then. Those pictures remind me of when we had to play a Saturday afternoon game at Newport Stadium bc Newport Home games came first on Fridays.  You would be exhausted win or loss but you had the rest of your Saturday to go out and enjoy highschool life. Those pictures are really cool.
