sportsfan1977
Tulsa is where he will end up. His HS coach just got hired there.
Brewsky
Mitch Cumstein wasn't it? I like it though, thinking outside the box.
All Tell
Shouldn't the head coach have final say over everything? Sure he should and I don't disagree, I was just offering how I read the article.
SLINK
Heard he would be at Tulsa with his OC.

RockPride
he will end up at Oklahoma or Louisville, IMO....I would like for him to come here, though I hope he grows up in his season sitting out.
LSURock
Sorry RP, but the UofL staff don't share your desire for this kid. The kid and his mom sound like a nightmare. I think he reunites with his mentor at Tulsa. Cool storyline at Tulsa though. They lose beloved coach only to have one of the highest ranked QBs in the country fall into their lap. All in the span of about a week.
RockPride
^ he could very well end up at Louisville, but from what I am hearing they are laying off "until" Simms makes his decision, if he opts to not come to the 'Ville (which I think he WILL be a Cardinal), then you will see a big push for Mustain, and I am sure that they have spoken, Krag's offense is perfect for Mitch. LSURock
He would face some pretty stiff competition at USC. It would still surprise me that he would chance it.
strongopenyon
He would face some pretty stiff competition at USC. It would still surprise me that he would chance it. I totally agree! USC has John David Booty back for his senior year next season which would be the sit out year if Mitch Mustain transfers there. The top QB in the country in the 2005 class was Mark Sanchez who is Booty's backup. There is no guarantee for playing time for Mustain at USC. I can't see it. GulfCoastTyrant
I don't have a problem with the kid making a move to improve his situation. Improving your opportunities, the lifestyle for your family, exposing your potential and abilities....most people take advantage when offered more opportunities, more money, potential reward. This is all about opportunity, draft stock, dollars, professional career. You can't blame Houston Nutt for using McFadden and he will get the ball next year. We all know a good running game opens up the passing game. Peyton is great - with a good running game. Brees was a Pro-Bowler with two awesome backs. Phillip Rivers is going to get better with L.T. I think Mustain would benefit more if he stayed at Arkansas and *Showcased leadership. *Ran a balanced offense. *Accumulated bigtime SEC wins. *Notched bowl victories or appearances. Tebow used his patience, ran the ball when asked, sat the bench and FLORIDA will have a running game next year.
