North Hardin lost a high scoring affair with South Warren 48-38, in which they actually held a 26-13 lead in the second quarter. North Hardin has had trouble finishing games in the last 2 years they are known for their lack of discipline at times and mistakes and penalties. They have been talented enough in recent years to overcome these mistakes but with new players on both sides of the line of scrimmage, their margin for error is razor thin these days. 

Their next stiff test comes in the form of a Corbin team that scored 47 points in their first game of the season vs Cincinnati Hughes. Corbin will be too much for North Hardin in this one.

Can Corbin deny Boykins the ball? He's probably good for at least a couple of big plays for NH, but that may be their only offense.

Corbin is elite this year. I think they win this one by a good margin.

I think this one is closer than people think. This heat is going to take a toll on both sides pretty quickly. Corbin wins, but I think by less than two scores.

I believe this one will be livestreaming on Garrard County's MAINSTREETMEDIATV page on YouTube. The game is supposed to happen tonight at 8:00pm after Garrad County vs. Middlesboro, which is scheduled to kick off at 6:00pm in the Garrard County Bowl.

The KHSAA Scoreboard still shows the first game kicking off at 6:00pm, but I'm assuming things are close to being as rough outside as they are here in northern Kentucky, so we'll see, I guess.

Is it a little strange that Garrard is hosting this bowl and didn't take the nightcap? I thought most bowl hosts took the second game, or am I mistaken in that? For what it's worth, there is no doubt that this is the better game of the two.
