Hasn't had a day off in awhile.  Came in the game and made a couple nice plays defensively.  The Reds won.  No mention of that though.

12 games to go, days off coming up, this is not little league, you’re fighting for your lives, homered in 2 straight games, you go play, I’ll mention it for you, they won, with no help from Bell

If you look at the Reds projected wins based on runs scored and runs allowed, Bell did a very good job. The Reds should have been 7 to 10 games under .500 and at least 13 games behind the Cubs. You have to give Bell some of the credit for the over performance of the team. Of course we can all second guess pitching changes that he did or didn't make and lineups that we didn't agree with, but at the end of the day he did a decent job this year.
