But if they expect a decision by Friday, I’d have to assume they need to wrap up interviews by today or tomorrow at the latest. 

I think that they wanted to have a coach in place by Summer Practice start. They are currently scheduled for May 30th.

Whoever it is, will have to hit the ground running. I'd assume we'll hear Friday, or the decision will be made on Friday, and the announcement made early next week on Monday or Tuesday.

I wouldn't expect to hear anything until tomorrow.

With nothing today I would expect an announcement early next week.

Tend to agree. I know there is/was some extra due diligence being done with one of the applicant’s current school’s AD, HC, and Principal. 

If I had to guess, he’s the front runner.

Tough to say as I’m not sure of who all got an interview.  
 

Of the names I believe did sit in front of the committee:

Pence and McMillen are teachers. Shelton is not.

The exact words for the administration were "CCH is on spring break so we don't want to ask for them to station an employee there." 

That situation may have played a factor, but I don't expect the admins to lie about it.

I would not expect the administration to discuss personnel issues with the public. I would however expect them to create a narrative to protect the system, some people may call that a lie.
