You really hate to see it...

Well I do hate that the one guy threw the ball away, essentially losing the game for his team.  I know a lot adds up over the course of a game but that's how he'll feel about it, and I never like for a player to have to carry that.

At least he was on their National Championship team as a freshman.  He even started 20 games that season.  So, that one play shouldn't define his career at UVA.

It won't with knowledgeable people. Casual fans will kill him unfortunately.

I wont lie, my favorite team to see lose in the tournament is UVA.

The Furman kids were by far the most sincerely happy and excited to draw into the NCAA tournament, so I'm happy for them.

As long as Bennett is their coach this will happen.  VA only blows teams out when they are hitting a lot of 3s and the other team is having a bad shooting night.  Their slow style keeps inferior teams in games.

We were once victimized by that very thing.  It still haunts me.

You don't have to be the best team, jut the best team on that given night.

Yep. Saddest thing about competitive athletics.....you ALWAYS remember those crushing defeats more than the great wins.
