If they could convince Jerry Perry to come he would be a good hire. Tons of success and very experienced. Coached there way back early in his career.

AC goes on Spring Break Friday. The announcement was expected prior to last day. AC admin didn't leave much space for official offers, counteroffers, counter-counteroffers, VA inspections, underwritin

  • They weren't exactly in an easy one when he was there - Boyle County, Lexington Catholic, and Bourbon County.

10/20 they play at home vs Woodford County.

New district is a killer!  Collins, South Oldham, Scott County, and Woodford County.  Hope they can schedule some games out of district that can be competitive!

Like the previous district was grand, Boyle, Lex Cath and not so much  Bourbon.

If I was the Anderson Admin… I would be on phone calling David Buchanan. Guy is proven winner and can build programs.

Lots of applicants for this opening, Buchanan among them.

So it looks like Buchanan will be coaching somewhere next season for sure.

Not a word. I don’t expect this job to get as much attention as other jobs this cycle. Can easily see a first year head coach or a guy ready to finish a career end up here. We will see!

If this is the direction Anderson wants to go with a first year head coach. I’d reach out to Trenton Fields current offensive coordinator at Danville see if he’s interested. He was also formally the offensive coordinator/ assistant head coach at Lexington Catholic, George Rogers Clark, and Tates Creek. He is a young coach in the area. Played for Woodford County, and still lives in the area, and has been a finalist for a couple of head jobs in the past few years.

Is Logan Shouse an option? He works in the district.

I don’t necessarily know if that’s the direction Anderson will go or not. Based off this thread it sounds as if they have more options than previously thought. Coach Fields is absolutely qualified for the job, tremendous Coach!

Why does he move around so much?

Guy is probably just trying to climb the ladder. Not everyone can stay at one place for 10-15 years and hope a coach retires, and the get the head set from them. A normal lifespan of a head coach is like 7 years. So if you come sometime in the middle. You’re gonna have to shift around. Also if you hitch your saddle to a dead horse ( Tates Creek) you’re not around to long.

I hear interviews are this week. Can anyone confirm?
