? Final at "The Finn" per @CardinalsFan in the Update thread.

? Congratulations to Jacob Meyer who became the 9th Region's all-time leading scorer.

Huge congrats to Jacob Meyer! Record hadn't been touched since Scott Draud, and his son broke his record in the 2020-21 season. I am not sure on Scott Draud's graduation year.

Now in the 2022-23 season, the record is broken again.

Shout out to senior Michael Weller the Indians manager.  He has been the manager for four years and for senior night Coach Casey let him suit up and didn’t just play him for ten seconds in the beginning of the game for a ceremonial layup.  He got to play about four minutes at the end of the game when the Indians had a significant lead.  He got a basket and completed the plus one.  When he scored everyone was so excited especially the bench. I love watching kids who do so much for the teams get recognized and get to take part in some of the fun having all his friends supporting them.

Have video of that? Great for that young man and great job by the coaching staff.

You seem to have forgotten Brandon Hatton of Dixie in 2014, 3045 points.

Appears to be a double dribble on the dunk, but he's so fast and the ref's were behind him to see it, JMO.

You can always count on @Brcatzto be that guy.

I have it from 859radio, but also from the student section, which shows just how excited everyone was for him.

1st off congrats, that’s a lot of points. This is a great example of kids exploring there high school options where a coach will let u play your game, don’t think this would have happened at Dixie or Scott where he once attended.  Great move for the Meyer family.

Agree with your point, but I don't think he ever attended Scott or Dixie.

Jacob played varsity basketball for Scott when he was in the 8th grade. Then he started off high school at Holy Cross.

Turkeyfoot 7th grade year, Scott 8th grade year, then Holy Cross 9th grade year.
