McCreary Central upends Wayne Co. Tonight 59-52 to clinch the 1 seed in 48th District. 

I think POY will come down to Alcorn and Lancaster. I'll give the nod to Alcorn right now. Best Juniors are Barnes, Dut, Godby and Whitaker, in that order.

Lincoln Co. And Danville Christian just went in Double OT.  

Lincoln dominates 2nd OT and wins 65-55.

No way I just seen that Garrard got beat by Danville by 20. Wow. 45th district is absolutely crazy!!

Big win for Danville! They need to get a seed game.  Garrard peak too early? Always hard for them to come out of 45th.  Deep and talented district for sure. 

Game is starting to click for Danville. Athletes are there they just have to be able to get scoring like they did last night from Barnes and Bryant. Consistency is key in District tourney for success. They need to play fast and have a couple kids step up.

It seems like when Danville does a lot of full court press or generally increases defensive pressure that they are a tough team to handle this year.

I don't think they have the horses to press like they should. They lack good backup guards. When you take out Bixler and Brown they don't do well when they press. Those 2 kids are fast, Brown being very fast and cause havoc. 

The way that the 45th is playing, I don't know if I want to be 1 or 2 in the district.

I understand your sentiment but you definitely don't want to be the 4 or 5 seed. Extra game and Lincoln awaits in JC Edelman Gymnasium. You want to be seeded 1-3 for sure.

Oddly enough, I think every team is still in position to get into at least the 2/3 game. It will require some specific teams winning specific games but it isn't out of the question.

I think Garrard is out of contention mathematically for the 2/3 game with the loss to Danville.

• Garrard is 2-5. If they beat DCA, they would finish 3-5 and win the season series.
• DCA is 2-3. If they lost to Garrard and either Boyle or Danville, Garrard would hold the tiebreaker, provided no one else finished 3-5.
• Danville is 1-4. Garrard would need Danville to lose two of their remaining three (Boyle, Lincoln, DCA) and finish 2-6.

The path to the 2/3 game for Garrard is complicated but it really isn't that impossible. However, they have beat DCA next Tuesday night.
