Blowouts in title games. How many teams do we have to eliminate from the playoffs to stop that from happening?

Those things happen everywhere lol. Some teams are just that much better in a certain year.

My take on it goes back to the number of classes. I know it's not a perfect fix and it's been discussed since the beginning of time but 6 is too many for KY. In theory, a 4 class system could have set up Pikeville-Beechwood and CAL-Boyle, both of those games would have been less likely to be the routs that we saw.

Looking back at scores from when there were 4 classes, guess what I found? Blowouts in nearly have the games year in and year out. First year I looked at was 98, the oldest scores on the Khsaa scoreboard. 3 out of 4 were bad.

Same is true most years.
