Every game Highlands plays seems filled with questionable coaching decisions lol. Hopefully the coaches will do a good job in this butt kicking game coming up Friday. But.....it won't matter....too much talent for MoCo.

They could go 15-0, win a state championship, be nationally ranked, have 5 D1 players, post 6 shut out wins, probably be the best team in history and there will be those ones that will find something wrong.

No, correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that would violate the rules, 8th graders playing contact sports vs others more than 3 grades above their own.

Negative. It is against the Rules. 8th grader Tight End S. Clukey who dressed and started for the Freshman team would dress up before Lorenzen would. Clukey sure fits the Bill standing at 6'-4" 225lbs. He doesn't look like a 8th grader getting off the Bus. Litmer and Merz went through the same scenario in 2021. Could of very easily competed as 8th graders at the JV level but with the rules couldn't.

Is Tayden Lorenzen an 8th grader? I thought he was younger than that.

He is in 8th grade and this is not a shot on anyone but maybe we should move the 8th grade/Frosh discussions to the NKY Frosh page?

For this game, I want to see the Birds shake off any rust from the bye week and play a clean game in all 3 phases. Most importantly, get the win and hopefully stay healthy. Have some guys coming back from injury that can contribute.

Yeah, I hope to see a lot of Benke slinging it all over the place. Deep balls, crossing routes, just exercise his arm and knock the dust off. They have seemed to be pretty careful with him throwing it lately. He was thrown in to the QB position at the beginning of the season and it took a couple games to warm it up and get synchronized with the WRs. I feel like the past couple games the passing game has been a little off from what it was mid season.
