Let’s get something clear here, New Cath has absolutely no chance of winning 1A state this year. Would not touch Pikeville and Raceland is better. They have been disappointing since going back to 1A.

They aren't weighted by class. Takes strength of schedule and applies margin of victory/loss to schedule. Simon Kenton is top 10 6A team and Beechwood beat them pretty good. I know SK had QB out that game but that's one game boosting Beechwood rating. With 9 games played each game is worth 11.11 % of rating.

For those of you on that side of things, help me understand what is going to be different this year than in the last 7 of 8 matchups that have been largely one sided wins by Beechwood? I'm all for a competitive game.....But, I expect a running clock in Beechwood's favor.

NewCath fans/1A RPI gurus - With Bellevue not playing in the playoffs this year, who will NCC play in the first round? Bye? Or will someone be shipped to play NCC from another district?

The Scoreboard shows them playing Eminence at Dixie.

It’s sister Districting this year so NCC plays the 4 seed from their sister district which sounds like Eminence. If the win that they play the winner of Ludlow and Frankfort.

NCC went for it on 4th and long and converted.  They are on the Beechwood 26.

Beechwood went 3 and out on their first possession and NCC has drove the ball down to Beechwood's 23 converting several 3rd downs and a 4th down. Currently 3rd and 5 at Beechwood 21.

Timeout NCC to maybe re-think going for it. They originally ran the FG team on then pulled them back off the field.
