Reading the bio, I could not decipher if he would bring in the vanilla offensive gameplan that comes out of the closet when the offense does not perform to its capabilities.

I think almost anyone is a step down from Petrino, but Kragthorpe is in the Petrino mold. Look at his record at Tulsa and it will not look to dissimilar to John L's seasons in Conference USA, but Tulsa has had a LOT less to work with. I fully expect Louisville to continue to be a top twenty five power.
