Based on what?

I admittedly don't know a lot about these teams, but I also feel like Kentucky high school football notoriously has the same faces contending for the top spots season after season. 

With that said, 5 Louisville teams comprising the Top 5 is a solid assessment.  I don't know the order, but those 5 are the ones that should be there for the time being.

Still struggling to comprehend the Ballard/Male outcome.  Does it say more about Ballard or Male?

I would say probably Ballard, but I'm not sure yet. 

You'd think Male could give the ball to their stud RB Swinney 25 times and come up with more than 7 points.

Nothing.

SK hasn't made it far enough to play a Louisville school since 2017. That year they played three in a row:

Jeffersontown (3-7) SK won 48-17

Ballard (5-5) SK won 52-12

Trinity (10-0) SK lost 49-17

SK was 11-2 this year, FWIW. 

 

We've talked about this on here before. If SK actually scheduled better competition, they may be more successful in the 6A playoffs. For some programs, a gaudy record is more important than hardware. 

I just got off work and came home straight to the 6A Rankings to get a good pick me up after a crappy day. So far so good. 

 

Calpreps has SK #8 in 6A. 

I KNEW this wouldn’t let me down this week.
