Not sure I’d be real proud of what went on out there tonight for  the Raiders, regardless of what the score board said.

I couldn’t be more proud. Running clock vs a quality team on the road. They did their talking on the field and not on social media. 

And if you’re referring to the penalty at the end of the game. Nothing dirty about that play whatsoever. Just a physical football play. Deserving of a penalty? Borderline. I guess you can make a case for blindside block because he came from the side, but the Highlands player was running full speed straight down Main Street on a kickoff. Not sure what else to expect. Very glad to hear he’s OK!

On another note, heard a few unruly fans screamed profanities at our players and coaches afterwards. Our guys kept their composure and just laughed it off.

In that case, as old as the Highlands football program is, man oh man, the Birds have had a lottttttt of garbage seasons.

Let’s be honest here, there was unruliness on both sides last night. 
 

As far as the hit, it was a penalty. It was called as such, correctly. There was no need for that kind of blind side hit that late in the game with a running clock. We walked out with one of your coaches, who knows my husband from the referee world, who apologized for the hit that was made and said “it was uncalled for.”
