Ryle's defense will struggle without Belk and Savage.

I watched a very Physical Highlands team tonight. 

Highlands had 3 Taunting Fouls tonight. I like the Energy but they have to clean that up. Which they will. There were extra Refs being trained all Night so having those 6-7 extra sets of Eyes and Ears doesn’t allow for not being disciplined. But I like the Swagger. Its been missing for a very long time.

I like to hear that. I think the rejuvenated focus in the weight room made a big difference.

What Highlands player most impressed you on each side of the ball?

Highlands is battle tested scrimmaging Male.

Ryle’s Frosh starters had 2 drives stop inside the 10 because of the 10 play rule. Highlands had 2 turnovers. Both of which didn’t negatively impact them because they didn’t count them. Not hard to see how Ryle is 3-4 TD’s better. Not knocking Highlands! They’re really good.

Ryle was playing w/out their 3 best defensive players and 2 RB’s. 

I agree with your assessment of the varsity game. Highlands look really good. I’d rank them at 1 or 2 in NKY. 

Highlands is still my favorite venue to watch a HS game!

Refs made it clear tonight. Better keep the mouth shut after a big play.
