Feel the same.  Saw where Bell pulled another one of his boob head moves to go along with everything else!  Stephenson gets hurt 1st inning, Bell has only other catcher on roster at DH so they have to move him into catch and play last 8 innings without a DH, just unreal!!!

I saw people complaining about that on Twitter.

I'm assuming there is a rule but seems weird they can't just pull like a double switched, move the DH to catcher and then put a new player into the DH role.

Being merely a casual fan who enjoys watching the Reds play on TV and not following all of the off-season moves, I cannot believe how many players on this team I don't know, or have never heard of.   To me, they might as well be dressing and playing FC Cincinnati guys in Reds uniforms, and I think that speaks poorly for the organization.

Also, how many of these Reds would you want to take your son to the ballpark to watch play???  India maybe, but he needs to "clean up."  Not Votto, he is old news.  Acquino has lowered the bar to a new low "acceptable performance" level.  Farmer has no personality and is merely going through the motions to pick up a check,  Moustakas (already on the IL) is an overweight slug, and Tommy Pham is another stray dog who we have taken in, who obviously can't keep his mouth shut.   There is some other guy out there who looks like Wolfman Jack.  Who are these guys???  Not players I want representing Cincinnati.  Can't we establish a core Cincinnati Reds roster???  This is really sad.

No, India would not be a "role model" for my kid unless he trims up.  Love his play and his work ethic, but there are responsibilities that go along with being my kid's hero, and being presentable is one of them.

Players on the Reds I would take my son to watch and I enjoy watching:

Votto

India

Stephenson

Hunter Greene

Unfortunately the "looks" of some are still more important than other qualities.  Bare in mind that India has a great work ethic and plays hard, but he's not "presentable" so he can't be a role model.  Sad.

The guy has the work ethic, has donated to the Dragon Fly Foundation, regularly gives tickets to fans with disabilities (you never hear about it because he's a lot less about "me" than anyone knows) and is one of the few you still see along the wall signing autographs for kids before each game.... I could care less if he dyes the hair blue and braids a goatee to his bellybutton, this all screams role model to me.

The guy pictured here is not presentable.  India is just fine.  Would it be my choice to have the long lettuce?  No.  But, then again I didn't wear my hat backwards like Junior did, either, and he was just fine in my book.

If you want an external feature to determine whether a guy is worthy of being looked up to...having a dirty uniform by the end of each game is probably more important that his hair style.

Greene's velocity was down about 5 mph tonight.  Sounds like an IL trip might be forthcoming.
