Should be wins: EKU (home) Temple FAU (home) MSU (home) Should be favored but could go either way: USC Vandy Should be underdog but could go either way: UofL (home) Georgia Probable losses: Arkansas LSU (home) Florida (home) Tennessee (home) So you've got 4 wins that shouldn't be too much trouble. Lets say they split the middle 4 which gives them 6 wins. Sure they could pick up one of LSU/Florida/UT all at home, but they'll still be very tough games. The tough part is playing the swing games (USC, Vandy, UGA) on the road. UK got all of those at home this year and was 2-1. Playing LSU, Florida, and Tennessee at home doesn't make up for the fact that they're far more talented teams. Getting 8 regular season wins out of next years schedule will be VERY impressive. I'd love to see it happen, but I'll be satisfied with 6. The year after will be more telling, IMO.

January 9, 200719 yr The UK/UL game goes from "UL being favored but UK could win" with Petrino, Bush and Brohm, to "tossup" without them... Tennessee is a tossup at home next year as well...
January 9, 200719 yr LSURock brought up a good point in a different post. What happens, if UK, with the schedule upgrade, doesn't make it to a bowl game? Will that be looked at as a step backwards? Will Coach Brooks, be on the hot seat yet again? What say you? He will probably get a contract extension!

Seriously, even if I were a UK fan I'd call this overshooting. Louisville will still have Anthony Allen George Stripling Brock Bolen Harry Douglas Mario Urrutia Gary Barnidge Patrick Carter no matter what. That's all top 4 receivers, 3 of the top 4 runners. UK can't stop those guys. The line is in good shape, anchored by a player recognized as elite in Eric Wood. The defense is still going to be led by Deantwan Whitehead Latarrius Thomas Earl Heyman Malik Jackson Lamar Myles Adrian Grady Jon Russell And special teams will continue to feature the BEST kicker in college, and two speedy return guys that ran both ran back TDs in their freshman seasons this year. And Hunter Cantwell has done alright, you know. Miami's got a lot more speed in their secondary than Kentucky...:walk:

January 9, 200719 yr Good chance the Kats only get 5 wins but for now I will enjoy this year. If I were you UL fans that have started and fueled this thread I would worry more about what happens to the Cards who look like they will be hitting on considerable less cylinders next year
