What about the fact that Woodson played a near flawless game against the #16 ranked defense which featured a defensive end that will go in the top 10-20 players in the draft. Or the fact that UK out hit Clemson, or the fact that UK's offensive gameplan shredded Clemson's defense. You make it sound as though Clemson decided just to go ahead and give the game to UK. The fact is UK TOOK the game. You can't make it sound as though Kentucky barely held on in the face of a Clemson rally AND say that Clemson didn't play with heart. If that were the case it would have ended up much, much more lopsided.

Yes the final score was 8 points but UK was the far superior team that day, Bowden admitted as much and all the Clemson fans I encountered in Nashville felt the same way. It isn't as though UK was lucky to win. I watched the second half. I thought Clemson played terrible. Their QB is awful. I wouldn't say that UK was the better team. They played better that day. Even with UK playing great and Clemson in the tank it came down to an on-side kick with 44 seconds. If it was as lopsided as you think Curtis Pulley would have QBed the fourth quarter and would have been taking a knee as time expired. I just wonder if the Cats would have really blown it (ala Devery Henderson for a TD!!!) would they be screaming for Brooks' head?

My exact quote WAS that UK was better THAT day. The fact is UK was a 10 point underdog to a team that beat both of the teams that played in the ACC title game and outplayed them on both sides of the ball for the majority of the day.

Clemson is very similar to LSU this year, other than Clemson tanked late in the year. LSU may be the most talented team in the country, but couldn't even make the title game, same for Clemson who beat both Wake Forest and Georiga Tech in the ACC final. Clemson was practically a double digit favorite and were down 22 points with a little over 7 minutes to play. They were handled Friday.

I am not concerned about Brian's performance, you guys are. I have known Brian since he was in 7th grade, playing the OL, and have seen him play QB in about 65-70 games (all of them), I am not at all concerned about his ability or where he fits nationally, especially since it's at or near the top.
