Highlands matches up well with Cov Cath. They played already. 

Adding noon to the secondary is also a huge factor moving forward.  I don’t think anybody’s talking about that Highlands it’s gonna be really tough to pass on. 

There kids, HHS game against Conner was terrible, just like Coopers effort last night.  I think any body can come out of NKY 5A but I like the past two games from the birds.  Defense is playing great and the three headed young offense monster was unveiled.  If the birds find away to move the ball and get offense like last night watch out.   This puts Robinson mostly back at LB.  You get LaFrange back in playoffs and Higgason has come along and the dline swarms.  Kissee is playing well both ways and I truly believe with Surrey, LaFrange, Higgason and Robinson is the best group of linebackers in NKY.  
 

Add in Dunn and Noon as hitters and the back safeties watch out.  May the fireworks begin.

HHS has an opportunity to step on the throat of a team that abused them last year and send a message. If I am in the locker room I am preaching to end Cooper's hopes of getting back in this game. Physically abuse the man across from you and make them quit, make the man across from you not want to play football anymore. Make a statement. HHS was beat like a dirty dog by Cooper last year; don't let them back in the game.

The things you mentioned about being young and lots of injuries can also apply to Cooper. Cooper plays a lot of young guys, and have had lots of injuries. Luckily they have been able to overcome them most of the year. However, last night injuries on the Oline  with starting center and tackle being out really showed. As Highlands defense lived in the backfield. Hopefully all these teams can be as healthy as possible come the playoffs. It should a very fun and competitive playoffs for sure. 

This time of the year is exciting to me, watching how the teams have matured, seeing who is bringing it, who is coming to play each week and who will wind up in the end. My prediction in the end .... any of these 4 teams could beat anyone else on any given day, there is not one special stand out this year and HHS is peaking at the right time

100% accurate on that statement.  This time of year you play your best in positions where they and team can be successful.  Also requires some kids to play both ways and on special teams.

Joat what do you think of Bottom at QB, Noon at RB/DB and Benke at WR? Better than Noon at QB and whoever was playing RB?

Based upon last night it was a good look with some success.  I just want guys that want to be out there whether that is 11, 15 or 22.  I am going to win or lose with my best.  What I have been saying for 6 or 7 years now.

I love the passion. With that being said I think CCH's Soph class will have something to say about that.

No way-Jones and Sullivan are as good as CCH has had in years at LB. Next year it will be Jones and Jones.

If you watch the tape, some were led to believe a couple of inept offenses between the two; keen eyes can tell Strong backers lead the programs.  Fair enough I like Sullivan and Jones.  Jones and Robinson both have another year.  I expect them to lead the programs.  For the Birds I expect Hodge, Roller and Fenick to work hard this off-season to keep moving forward.  Surrey and LaFrange are going to be hard to replace on the defense; but Dunn should lead that side of the ball.
