#3 Trinity (2-6) will host St. Mary's (MO)(5-1) after defeating #7 Ballard 20-17. St.    Mary's (MO) is ranked #7 in Missouri by Calpreps ratings and is coming off a 42-0 win over Cardinal Ritter (MO).

Trinity was led on offense against Ballard by QB Brady Willis who rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown. He also was 12-14 passing with 88 yards and a interception. RB Luke Sasser rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown. The Trinity offense rushed for 231 yards and 88 passing yards.

The Trinity defense was led by William Tronzo with a fumble recovery and Lincoln Mitchell with a interception. The Trinity defense held Ballard to 87 yards rushing and 218 passing.

St. Mary's is led by 5 star WR Kevin Coleman who is rated the #22 player nationally, #3 WR, and #1 player in MIssouri by 247Sports.com.

The defense is led by 3 star CB DeShawn Fuller who is the #103 CB in the nation as rated by 247Sports.com

Calpreps predicts St. Mary's to win 31-21. This should be a competitive game that either team can win. A key matchup will be WR Kevin Coleman against the Trinity secondary. Trinity has won two in a row so does Trinity make it Three?

Oh look, it's a championship level opponent for Trinity. You so seldom see those.

Seriously though, this schedule is relentless. If the Rocks fail to win a state title this year, no one can say they weren't battle tested enough. Every week has been a trial by fire for this young team.

Calling for rain, this could help slow down their star.  We need our running game to do well!

Armon Tucker is overdue for a big game. He's too good to be this quiet this deep into the season. It's been over a month since the La Salle game.

A lot of his lack of big games is because of the O-line and defenses focused on him.

Trinity always plays a stacked schedule but it’s usually teams we have some familiarity with (Cincinnati, Indianapolis, etc.). I’ve never heard of St. Mary’s but they’re obviously good. Looks like the Rocks will again have their hands full, but a win wouldn’t surprise me.

Missouri has 6 divisions and St. Mary's is Division 3 and ranked #1 in that division by Calpreps. Christian Brothers and DeSmet are big school powers in St. Louis. East St. Louis across the bridge in Illinois is a Illinois power.

A lot of his lack of big games is that he's been injured so much this season. Was out most of the game last week at Ballard for injury also. Let's hope he's healthy.

He was injured during track season as well. I hope he gets healthy. Hate to see any kid miss opportunities especially a senior.
